The Pattern Pilot lets your organization evaluate Monderman's diagnostic suite before choosing a paid subscription. Begin with a defined team, workflow, or organizational unit. A group of six to twelve people is a practical starting point, not a participant limit. Use the five-step evaluation plan below to decide what to examine and which tools to use.

Four diagnostics. Individual and group reports.

The pilot includes all four Diagnostics at the standard 10-, 30-, and 60-minute depths and all standard participant perspectives: Operational, Managerial, and Senior Leader. You receive the Pattern Workspace, participant campaigns, Executive Reports, Action Plans, anonymous response options, and Workspace access for five analysts and two admins.

Individual runs are unlimited. Depth Synthesis and Cross-Lens Synthesis are unlimited for eligible inputs. Each summarizes or compares the evidence submitted; neither establishes what an entire organization thinks or guarantees that results can be combined into a Composite Score.

AI-assisted interpretation is currently enabled for eligible Diagnostic and Synthesis reports, including pilot reports. Monderman's diagnostic engine produces the scores, classifications, evidence limits and available action options. Claude supports research and writes the explanation from authorized evidence within those rules. Automated checks and a separate AI review screen the interpretation before release; they do not establish scientific validity or guarantee an outcome.

Selected answers, results and context are processed through Anthropic's commercial API when AI-assisted reporting is enabled. Synthesis of your own saved runs can include selected original answers and their questions. Campaign Synthesis can include answer distributions grouped by exact question and context, with small or insufficiently supported groups withheld. Optional observations require the participant's new per-run permission under the September 12 notice; earlier permission does not authorize this expanded use. Request-size checks can send the same permitted evidence before an interpretation is generated. Customer content is not used for model training or shared sector research. Outside processing is not zero retention. See the Privacy Notice.

While interpretation is pending or unavailable, sponsors can reopen saved reports in the Workspace later without asking participants to answer again. Older reports are not automatically regenerated or replaced. Review suggestions before acting.

Five steps to a useful pilot.

1. Choose a real organizational question.

   Identify a problem your team needs to understand, such as delayed approvals, unclear responsibilities, or repeated administrative work. Name the team, workflow, or unit you will examine. Agree who will review the findings and decide what to do next.

2. Run the first relevant diagnostic with your team.

   A Workspace admin opens Measure, creates a Diagnostic campaign, and sends participant links. Start with six to twelve people who know the same scope, including different roles where useful. Choose a run length they can complete. Review the individual reports before drawing a group conclusion.

3. Add other diagnostics when they answer another question.

   All four are available. You do not need to use every diagnostic, depth, or participant perspective to complete the pilot. Select the ones that add relevant evidence:

   • Structural Clarity: examine ownership, authority, role boundaries, and handoffs.
   • Decision Velocity: examine where approvals, reviews, and escalation slow decisions.
   • Operational Systems: examine the time and effort required by processes, reporting, and coordination.
   • Institutional Performance: examine reported conditions beneath performance, including resilience and capacity to adapt.

   The pilot includes a shared allowance of 500 completed campaign responses, not 500 people for each diagnostic. One person completing four assigned diagnostics uses four responses. Pending invitations also reserve capacity, so check the available allowance before expanding campaigns.

4. Use Synthesis to examine the submitted evidence.

   Use Depth Synthesis for eligible runs from the same Diagnostic to examine the median score, spread, coverage, and differences between participant perspectives. Use Cross-Lens Synthesis for eligible results from different Diagnostics to examine their relationship while keeping each measure distinct. Eligibility depends on the inputs and their compatibility; a Composite Score is withheld when the evidence does not support one.

5. Choose a practical action and a later measurement.

   Decide what deserves investigation or change. Have a Workspace admin record an action and an owner in Action Plans, and agree a review date with the team. Keep the original results as a baseline, then repeat a compatible measurement when enough time has passed for the change to matter.

   Thirty days can help you judge whether Monderman is usable, useful, and appropriate for your organization. It may not be enough to demonstrate sustained improvement. A later score difference alone does not prove that an action caused it.
